Wisconsin Gov. Tony Evers, together with Wisconsin Economic Development Corporation (WEDC) Secretary and CEO Missy Hughes, announced that 18 school districts across the state will receive over $493,000 in “fab lab” grants to train students in science, technology, engineering, arts, and mathematics (STEAM) skills.

The state of Wisconsin is turning to a new online tool to help stop the spread of COVID-19. On Aug. 19, the Wisconsin Department of Health Services (DHS) launched the online Decision Tool for Individuals and Families. The Tool is intended to help residents assess their COVID-19 risk and determine the best course of action to keep themselves and those around them safe.

As students shift to distance learning, having reliable, fast internet has become increasingly essential. With that in mind, Wisconsin announced a new web tool that helps users find free-to-use public broadband locations nearby. The tool, announced April 14, is intended for users whose own internet is either too slow or not available.
