The Mississippi Department of Information Technology Services (ITS) Board has hired Craig P. Orgeron, CPM, Ph.D, as the state’s new chief information officer (CIO) for Mississippi and executive director of ITS, effective July 1.

Maryland

The Maryland Department of Information Technology (DoIT), in collaboration with the Maryland Department of Disabilities and the Office of State Procurement within the Maryland Department of General Service, has launched the state’s first-ever Accessibility Officer Initiative with the ultimate goal of improving digital services accessibility in the state.

The Federal Communications Commission (FCC) announced on Monday the 50 members of the recently reestablished Communications Security, Reliability, and Interoperability Council (CSRIC), along with the two co-chairs.

Pennsylvania has launched a new website – PA.gov – with the end goal of creating a user-friendly and accessible digital experience and make it easier for Pennsylvania residents to find the services they need.
