The National Science Foundation (NSF) has implemented a final rule that establishes repayment standards for the agency’s CyberCorps Scholarship-for-Service recipients who fail to fulfill the program’s requirements.

The Biden-Harris administration unveiled its long-awaited National Cyber Workforce and Education Strategy (NCWES) today, securing commitments from 37 stakeholders – like the Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA) and the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) – to increase the number of Americans in “good-paying, middle-class” cyber jobs. 

The Montana state government is beginning to look to trade schools and two-year degree programs for prospective applicants to fill state IT positions, according to Matt Van Syckle, chief technology officer for the state.
