The Indian Health Service (IHS) – a Department of Health and Human Services agency – awarded General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) a $2.5 billion indefinite delivery, indefinite-quantity contract to modernize its electronic health record (EHR) system, according to a recent release.

General Dynamics Information Technology (GDIT) announced that it received a $152 million supercomputing, cybersecurity, and software contract from the Alabama Supercomputer Authority (ASA) to support educational clients across the state.

GDIT has won a $121.8 million contract from the Department of Education (DoE) to modernize the agency’s Federal Student Aid (FSA) processing system, allowing students to more efficiently receive Federal aid for higher education.

The Infrastructure Investment and Jobs Act that President Biden signed last November represented a win for state and local governments (SLG), with the inclusion of a $1 billion cybersecurity grant program targeted at improving SLGs’ cybersecurity posture.
