The state and local government sector is seeing strong growth in the adoption of DMARC email authentication, but still lags far behind the Federal government and has much room to improve, according to a recent report from Valimail.

State and local governments are starting to make progress–albeit slowly–on adopting latest-generation email authentication protocols.

Email authentication technologies provider Valimail said today it will provide its email anti-fraud service free of charge to state boards of election, voting system vendors, and major-party U.S. election campaigns.
