Mark Hayes is the current Chief Deputy Director of Pima County, Arizona, where he is responsible for all aspects of Information Technology for a county of one million population, 9,100 square miles, 7,000 employees and an annual county budget of over $1 billion. He was instrumental in selecting and implementing TeamDynamix as the platform for IT customer service and as a platform for automation to remove “toil” from Help Desk staff and other IT employees.
Prior to Pima County, Mark served as Product Development Manager at Sunquest Information Systems, responsible for development and support of the firm’s flagship Sunquest Laboratory system utilized in hospitals around the world. He was also previously the Director of WorldWide Supply Chain IT for Dell. In this role, he supported seven plants on four continents with a standardized set of state-of-the-art systems, both created in-house by his team and procured as Commercial-Off-the-Shelf systems that revolutionized inventory planning and management to provide Dell a substantial competitive advantage that enabled their phenomenal growth during the 1990’s.
