Rep. Don Beyer

Congressman Beyer has represented the 8th district of Virginia since 2015. He serves as the Chairman of Congress’ Joint Economic Committee, sits on the Ways and Means Committee, and Chairs the Space Subcommittee of the House’s Committee on Science, Space, and Technology. He had the honor of serving the great Commonwealth of Virginia as the Lieutenant Governor from 1990 to 1998, was instrumental in the formation of the Northern Virginia Tech Council, and was appointed by President Obama to serve as Ambassador to not just Switzerland, but also Liechtenstein.
